I am not sure how to use the lock. Or maybe I don’t understand its function. The documentation on the website doesn’t help. But I like the app as a diary. It’s great and it’s free. Thanks :)

would it be possible to have password protect and ensure the application remembers the spell check settings even if I close it and open it again?

The GUI is minimal at most. Took quite a bit of time to figure out how to post to my blog. Used many other XMLRPC programs and this was the most user-unfriendly. Unable to add more than one image to a post. The documentation is lacking and leaves alot to just “figure it out”. Was going to try and engage the developer on twitter but it’s not in English.

Most of the time I use this app just for private journaling. But then I create Tumblr account, attach Bits to it, and now share some posts. After contacting developer I’ve found that image adding works also by dragging. Great! Pros: - Realy smooth blog integration - iCloud - Shortcut friendly Cons: - I wish to have several blogs, and share entries to different blogs based on post topic.

Nice little diary app. iCloud works great on my iMac, MacBook Pro and iPhone 4S. WordPress sharing is a big plus.

i was going to use this as a journal but i found one major flaw as i was typing my first entry. as i was setting here typing my first enrty, i was about 3 paragraphs in. i got a message on hangout so not thinking much of it i clicked on the message and replyed. when when i went to continue my thoughts inside bits my entry was no longer on screen and didnt save. so everything i had wrote was deleted or whatever but it just vanished. this to me is a MAJOR FLAW because if you switch programs without hitting the save button everything you have writen is now gone. other than this major con i did like the app.

Other than adding more and more, keep it clear is something shows what’s its different from others, this app did well, and I hope you keep it, don’t make it like an wordpress blog writer or something big and common, coz some people will make those out. fouces on one thing and one thing only. Great app, love it.

Feels like an iphone app running on OS X, but without the benefit of a touchscreen. It’s functional enough, but clumsy in the way it does things. I was not able to connect to both Tumblr and Wordpress at the same time.

Simple, concise, I havent found any problems. Works like a charm to take down quick thoughts.

Nice simple app but it would be really helpful if we could edit previous notes.

I absolutely love this app, although I wish this app was password protected so only I can access it.

I really like the app, it is really simple but…there really should be an option to set a passcode so no one can see what you wrote. That would be nice :) Also please please pleassssssssse make a Bits app for iPad!!!!!!!
